Golf courses are a living oases in the middle of
the Agadir. Their lush vegetation is in direct contrast with the arid
environment of the region. Agadir boasts three international caliber
courses located adjacent to each other.
At Inezgane, 6 km from the Agadir's city center, there is a large
eucalyptus forests planted on sand dunes. You will find two 9-hole
alongside each other. Golfers frequently combine these 2 properties
to play rounds of 18 or 27 holes.
Six kilometers further South, at Aït Melloul, a third course
offers enthusiasts a completely different golfing experience:
palm trees, white jenets, tamarix, eucalyptus and water courses
give this place a sense of calm and tranquillity.
Golf of the sun
This magnificent course has 27 holes, which have been designed for
the discriminating golfer. Spread over 86 ha the course has a 35 handicap.
The site is characterized by a large strategically located water hazard
that provides a challenge to most golfers. Training and practice lessons
are also available.
Golf of the dunes
Three different courses are offered to golfers wanting to play
in a truly majestic Moroccan environment. Designed by golf course
architect, Cabell Robinson, the course has a distinctive English
countryside character that is both challenging but relaxing.
Royal golf
This course is 9 holes (in 36) and has been
planted with cypress and palm trees as well as a variety of
cacti.
It is the oldest golf course in the region and offers excellent
value-for-money for both the green fees and restaurant.
